Linda I. Arnott Parmelee, 79 of Wadsworth, passed away on April 6, 2024.
She was born on December 24, 1944, in Barberton, OH to Hugh and Fern
(Krause) Arnott. Linda enjoyed sewing and playing racquetball, was a lifelong
member of First Christian Church in Wadsworth and ministering to shut ins
gave her much satisfaction. Linda was a loving, wife, mother, and
grandmother, always making her family a priority.
Linda is preceded in death by her sisters, Lois Klopfenstein, Maribeth Hilton,
and her parents. She is survived by her husband, Robert Parmelee; her
children, Christine (Brian) Gehman, and Brad Parmelee; her grandchildren,
Abigail, Janelle, and Josiah Gehman; and her sister, Kay Bowman.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 15 from 10am-12pm at First
Christian Church 116 E Boyer St. in Wadsworth. Funeral service will follow at
12pm. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,
memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church or the
Wadsworth Salvation Army.
